During the COVID-19 pandemic, health insurance providers had the responsibility to perform antigen testing, however, due to high demand they did not have the resources and capacity to test the entire insured population in a short period of time. We designed and developed a multivariate risk-of-death model for COVID-19 positive and hospitalized cases, which is based on factors such as comorbidities, medical history, socioeconomic conditions, and scientific literature. This model allowed health care professionals to identify patients with a higher probability of risk of death and provide more effective and timely treatment .
